Shipping & Return Policy

Shipping:

At GS Design Center, we are committed to providing a seamless and reliable shipping experience for all our customers. We ship your order FREE OF CHARGE (Most Cases) using the most reputable freight carriers within 1-5 business days after your purchase is confirmed. Our goal is to ensure your order is dispatched promptly and efficiently. Transit and delivery times typically range from 3 to 14 business days following shipment, depending on your geographical location, the size of your order, and any unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. Please note that these estimates do not include weekends or holidays.

Once your order has been shipped, we will promptly provide you with a tracking number via email, enabling you to monitor your shipment’s progress online. The freight carrier will contact you in advance of delivery to schedule a suitable date and time. To facilitate a smooth delivery process, we recommend having help available when your order arrives.

Exclusions to Free Ground Shipping:

Free ground shipping does not apply to the following:

  • Orders shipping to Alaska or Hawaii
  • Sink bottom grids
  • Task lighting power strips
  • Cabinet sample colors, paint, and touch-up kits
  • Any other color samples
  • Any shipments into Canada
  • Various small replacement parts
  • Various Hardware Resources items
  • Various Tile and Flooring products

Applicable shipping charges will be displayed at checkout prior to payment. However, please note that shipping fees may be subject to change after payment is captured if carriers impose additional charges, oversized fees, or remote delivery surcharges. Customers will be notified if adjustments are required.

Delivery Details:

All deliveries are curbside, meaning the freight carrier is responsible only for unloading the item from the truck. They may bring the item onto your driveway or into your garage if accessible, but they are not responsible for moving the product beyond that point, nor for bringing it into your home or any other interior space. We make every effort to ensure your order arrives in excellent condition and within a satisfactory time frame; however, we are not responsible for delays caused by factors outside our control, such as weather disruptions or carrier delays.

For deliveries to limited access areas—including, but not limited to, remote islands, rural locations, or areas with restricted vehicle access—additional shipping fees may apply. These fees are calculated based on the specific location and the complexity of the delivery.

Arrival and Inspection:

It is essential that someone be present at the delivery address at the scheduled delivery time to accept the shipment. Upon arrival, carefully inspect the package for any visible damage or irregularities before signing the proof of delivery or bill of lading. Count the number of boxes and examine each for signs of damage, such as dents, tears, or other issues that may have occurred during transit.

Please note that some minor wear on packaging is normal and does not constitute a reason for rejection. Keep all packing materials intact and in good condition until your inspection is complete, as returns for damage or defect claims must include original packaging.

Important: Any damage or issues should be documented immediately with photographs and reported to us within 48 hours of receipt by emailing sales@gsdesigncenter.com. Failure to report damages within this timeframe may affect your ability to file a claim.

Pick-up Options:

Customers or their designated representatives may opt to pick up their purchased items directly from our facility, provided the item(s) are confirmed to be in stock. Pick-ups are available during our regular hours of operation. Valid identification will be required at the time of pick-up to verify your order.

Our staff will assist with loading your purchase into your vehicle if requested; however, we are not responsible for any damage that may occur to your vehicle or the merchandise during the pick-up process. Please ensure your vehicle has adequate space and appropriate equipment for safe transportation.

Return Policy:

We accept returns of uninstalled, undamaged, and unaltered merchandise within 15 days of the purchase date for store credit only (minus shipping charges). Refunds are processed in the original form of payment used at the time of purchase.

Non-Damage Returns:

If you decide to return a product or refuse delivery for reasons unrelated to damage (e.g., change of mind, incorrect order), the following conditions apply:

  • The item must be returned in its original packaging and in the same condition as when received.
  • Items returned without the original packaging are subject to a 30% restocking fee.
  • Buyer is responsible for both the original shipping costs and the return shipping expenses. Shipping rates for returns can be obtained by contacting our customer service team via email at sales@gsdesigncenter.com.
  • All returned items will be subject to inspection upon receipt. We reserve the right to deny refunds on items that do not meet these criteria.

Cancellations:

Orders canceled after shipment, delivery, or pick-up will be treated as returns, and standard return policies will apply.

Note on Natural Materials and Handmade Items:

Please be aware that natural marble and granite surfaces used for vanity tops have unique characteristics such as veining, crystal lines, and crystallization patterns. These features are inherent to natural stone and are not considered defects but part of their natural beauty. Similarly, handmade furniture may exhibit character marks or minor imperfections.

Product images are for visual reference only and may not exactly match the received item due to variations in natural materials and craftsmanship. These characteristics are not grounds for a return or refusal of delivery.

Handling Damaged Items:

Visible Damage at Delivery:

If you notice visible damage to your package upon delivery, refuse the shipment and notify us immediately. To process a damage claim:

  • Record the damage on the Bill of Lading.
  • Take clear photographs of the damaged package and any visible damage to the contents.
  • Send the photos along with a description of the damage to sales@gsdesigncenter.com.

Refusing damaged shipments ensures a smooth replacement process. If you refuse an item due to damage, we will send a replacement at no additional cost.

Concealed or Hidden Damage / Wrong Items:

If damage or errors are discovered after signing the delivery receipt, you must report the issue within 3 business days by contacting us via email at sales@gsdesigncenter.com. Provide photographs of the damage and keep the item in its original packaging or well-protected for freight return.

We will review your claim and, if justified, arrange for a replacement or resolution at no extra shipping cost. Minor imperfections, such as small chips or finish inconsistencies, may be addressed with credit or replacement of parts, at our discretion.

Non-Returnable Items:

Please note that the following items are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Special orders, including custom vanities, tiles, mosaics, and cut-to-size vanity tops
  • Kitchen cabinets and countertops
  • Shower doors
  • Showroom samples
  • Items purchased at discounted or promotional prices
