STOCK CHECK, INVENTORY STATUS & ALLOCATION DISCLOSURE
STOCK CHECK, INVENTORY STATUS & ALLOCATION DISCLOSURE
At GS Design Center, we make every reasonable effort to present accurate product availability; however, ALL inventory displayed on our website is provided on a best-effort, estimated basis only and does not constitute a guarantee of immediate availability or shipment.
Because GS Design Center sources products from multiple manufacturers, authorized distributors, and regional warehouses nationwide, inventory levels may change without notice, sometimes multiple times per day. As a result, items may display as “In Stock,” “Available,” or show quantities on our website while the product is actually in an allocation stage, backorder status, production queue, or pending replenishment at the manufacturer or distributor level.
NO GUARANTEE OF REAL-TIME INVENTORY
Our website does not function as a live, real-time inventory feed.
Displayed availability reflects system estimates, vendor feeds, historical sales data, and allocation assumptions.
This means:
- An item may appear “In Stock” but be in allocation
- Inventory may be reserved for other dealers or pending fulfillment
- Stock may sell out between the time an order is placed and when it is reviewed
- Vendor systems may update after an order is submitted
By placing an order with GS Design Center, the customer acknowledges and accepts that listed availability is informational only and subject to verification.
ALLOCATION & MANUFACTURER CONTROLLED INVENTORY
Many premium brands operate on allocation-based inventory systems, where products are:
- Released in limited quantities
- Reserved by the manufacturer
- Scheduled in production batches
- Prioritized by dealer allocation or order queue position
Allocation status is determined solely by the manufacturer or distributor, not GS Design Center. Availability may change at any time and is outside of our direct control.
ORDER REVIEW & VERIFICATION PROCESS
All orders are manually reviewed prior to fulfillment. During this review, GS Design Center verifies:
- Manufacturer availability
- Allocation status
- Vendor minimum order quantities
- Packaging requirements (case packs, box quantities, paired items)
If an item is found to be:
- In allocation
- On backorder
- Discontinued
- Subject to vendor minimums not reflected online
Our team will contact the customer promptly with updated availability, lead times, or alternative options.
GS Design Center reserves the right to delay shipment, modify fulfillment timelines, substitute products (with approval), or cancel and refund an order if availability cannot be confirmed.
VENDOR MINIMUMS & PACKAGING REQUIREMENTS
Some manufacturers require products to be ordered in specific multiples (e.g., 2, 4, 6, full boxes, or cases), even if items appear on our website as “per unit.”
If an order does not meet vendor minimums:
- GS Design Center will notify the customer
- Additional quantity requirements will be clearly explained
- No additional charges will be made without customer approval
Orders that cannot be adjusted to meet vendor requirements may be delayed or canceled at GS Design Center’s discretion.
SYSTEM PLACEHOLDER QUANTITIES
Our website may display quantities such as “100” or more as a system placeholder.
This number does not represent physical inventory on hand and should never be interpreted as an exact stock count.
If large quantities are required or exact availability must be confirmed, customers must contact GS Design Center prior to placing an order.
CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY & AVAILABILITY CONFIRMATION
Customers working with:
- Tight construction or renovation timelines
- Scheduled contractor installations
- Time-sensitive deliveries
ARE STRONGLY ADVISED to confirm availability before ordering.
Failure to verify availability does not constitute grounds for cancellation, refund, expedited processing, or compensation.
IMPORTANT LEGAL DISCLOSURE

- Accepts possible allocation or backorder status
- Understands GS Design Center does not control manufacturer release schedules
- Agrees that availability discrepancies do not constitute misrepresentation

• Wood: Due to the inherent characteristics of wood, stains, and glazes, there will be some degree of variation in shade and grain between the sample and the actual kitchen. The door sample is not intended to exactly replicate the color or grain of your kitchen. These natural variations are considered standard in the industry and are not grounds for replacement. Wood is one of nature's most beautiful materials. Each tree grows uniquely, resulting in a variety of grain structures, mineral streaks, burls, and other character marks. Colors and shading can also vary significantly, with tones of brown, red, green, yellow, and white often present within the same species or even within the same door or drawer, particularly in cherry wood. Most wooden components, including doors and drawers, are constructed from different pieces of wood, each of which may change color in its own way over time. To maintain the integrity of your wood cabinetry, it's crucial to keep your home climatecontrolled. Extreme changes in temperature can cause painted finishes to swell or shrink, leading to unwanted bowing of doors and separation of finishes. During the summer, air conditioning should be used, and during the winter, heating is necessary. Simply opening windows in the summer does not provide the same climate control and can be harmful to the cabinets.
• Painted Finishes: The movement of structural components in a cabinet or door is typically unnoticed in stained or natural wood finishes. However, with painted finishes, imperfections may become visible on surfaces, doors, drawers, and boxes, especially along seams. These are not considered defects or grounds for replacement. Touching up these areas is not the responsibility of the cabinet company or the dealer. Painted finishes are susceptible to scratching, chipping, denting, and wearing from any impact. Water left on painted surfaces can cause peeling. High-use areas, such as garbage pull-outs, sink bases, and other frequently used cabinets, will show paint wear over time. To preserve the quality of painted finishes, it is crucial to maintain a climate-controlled environment in your home. Extreme temperature fluctuations can cause painted finishes to swell or shrink, leading to unwanted bowing of doors and separation of finishes. During the summer, air conditioning should be used, and during the winter, heating is necessary. Opening windows in the summer does not provide adequate climate control and can be harmful to the cabinets.
• High Gloss Finishes: High gloss finishes share some properties with painted and stained finishes. Whether made from acrylic, thermofoil, or melamine materials, these finishes can be scratched, dented, and damaged similarly to natural wood. Scratches on high gloss finishes tend to be more noticeable, though in some cases, they can be polished to make them less conspicuous. However, it is impossible to completely prevent scratches. To maintain the finish, only use cleaning products recommended by the cabinet manufacturer.
• Distressed Finishes: Distressed, antiqued, cottage, and rub-through finishes feature random physical characteristics that are neither uniform nor consistent. While the door sample will exhibit similar traits and colors, there will be variations from door to door throughout the installed kitchen. These variations are not considered defects and are not grounds for replacement.
Natural Stone, Quartz, Granite, Porcelain, Ceramic, and Glass
• Overview: All products, especially stone, will vary in color, shading, and size. Products displayed in the showroom are intended to represent how a tile or slab may appear in your home. These variations are not misrepresentations of the product and are not intentional. Samples provide a general representation of the tile's color and appearance, but the actual order, particularly with stone, will vary in shade and color.
• Stone: Stone materials may have dry seams, pits, and fossils, which are inherent characteristics. These are mostly filled at the factory, but some fill may fall out during or after installation. This can be easily remedied by filling with grout and resealing. This is not considered a defect or grounds for replacement, refund, or claim.
• Shading: We cannot control the shading, coloring, or variations within the products, nor the selection process by the manufacturer. These variations are not defects and do not constitute grounds for replacement, refund, or claim.
• Installation: Tiles are installed randomly without a set pattern or design. Tiles will not be changed or replaced due to shade, color, thickness, or discoloration. There is an allowable leeway of 3/16th of an inch for installed tiles.
• Sealer: All-natural stones are porous and must be sealed with a stone sealer. However, sealing will not prevent all staining of the stone or grout.
• Quartz Warranty and Care Manual: For information on how to use and maintain your specific quartz countertops, please visit the website of the quartz company you selected.
• Use and Care and Warranty: For detailed use, care, and warranty instructions, please visit the cabinet company's website or contact them directly. Failing to follow these instructions promptly may void your warranty or any potential claims. Product Warranty:
• GS Design Center does not provide a warranty for materials such as cabinets, tile, counters, and plumbing fixtures that are installed. It is important to note that the warranty for these materials is provided by the manufacturer. If a customer experiences any dissatisfaction with these products, they are required to directly contact the manufacturer to make a claim and should also notify GS Design Center.
• While GS Design Center does not independently guarantee the products, we are committed to assisting customers in the process of obtaining replacements if needed. For straightforward issues such as a simple door change, we will facilitate the replacement process. However, in cases where there are larger or more complex issues, the cabinet company or relevant manufacturer will typically dispatch a representative to the customer's home to assess the problem and determine the appropriate steps to address it.
• It is important for customers to understand that GS Design Center is not financially responsible on behalf of the cabinet company or any manufacturers for any damages or replacement costs. Customers are encouraged to review the warranty and cleaning details provided by each manufacturer on their respective websites for more information.
• For any questions or concerns regarding product warranties or the warranty process, please feel free to contact GS Design Center for assistance.
