The guides remain firm while lowering the bowl, giving you confidence that the bowl is lining up correctly the first time. Secure the bowl by hand-tightening star bolts, no tools or bolt cutting necessary. They come in standard length and long recess length when the flange is further below the sub-floor. Then flat bolt caps snap on top to provide a sleek look and are easy to wipe clean.?
