The Warmup ODC-PRO-G-H is a precision-engineered, surface-mounted snow and ice sensor designed for use with Warmup SNOPRO snow melting control panels. It reliably detects snow and ice conditions directly on pavement surfaces by sensing both moisture and temperature, activating deicing heaters only when conditions require.

This intelligent control minimizes energy consumption while maintaining effective snow melting performance. A built-in one-hour heater hold-on timer ensures heaters continue operating after snowfall stops, helping guarantee complete ice and snow removal.

How the PRO-G-H Sensor Works

The ODC-PRO-G-H detects moisture in combination with temperatures below 38°F (3.3°C). By operating in the critical 32°F to 38°F temperature range, the sensor prevents slow melting conditions and ensures efficient system activation.

The sensor accurately measures pavement temperature by compensating for its own internal heating, eliminating the need for a separate pavement temperature sensor. For maximum efficiency, the PRO-G-H mounts close to the deicing heaters so the pavement and sensor dry at approximately the same time.
