The Warmup SNOPRO-100 WiFi Snow & Ice Melt Control Unit is a powerful, intelligent controller designed for fully automated snow and ice melting systems. Connected to the Warmup WSM Snowmelting App, the SNOPRO-100 WiFi continuously monitors local weather forecasts and calculates snow and ice probability up to two hours in advance.
When forecast conditions meet or exceed the user-defined trigger point, the system automatically preheats the slab up to two hours before storm arrival, ensuring surfaces are ready before snow or ice begins to accumulate.
The controller can be used as a standalone unit or as a satellite controller for systems exceeding 100 amps, making it suitable for residential, commercial, and industrial snow melting applications.
Smart WiFi Control & App Integration
Through the Warmup WSM Snowmelting App, users can:
- Monitor snow and ice probability in real time
- Automatically trigger preheating before storms
- Manually turn systems on or off remotely
- Adjust trigger thresholds and hold-on times
- Monitor system performance from anywhere
The SNOPRO-100 WiFi can also operate as a non-connected controller when WiFi is not available.
Advanced Snow & Ice Melt Performance
The SNOPRO-100 WiFi supports a wide range of heating technologies including mineral insulated (MI), constant wattage, and self-regulating heaters. It can interface with up to six compatible Pro-Sensor devices, allowing precise control tailored to site-specific conditions.
An adjustable heater hold-on timer keeps heaters operating for up to 10 hours after snowfall stops, ensuring complete snow and ice melting.
Patented Ground Fault & Safety Protection
The SNOPRO-100 WiFi includes advanced patented and patent-pending Ground Fault Equipment Protection (GFEP), meeting U.S. and Canadian National Electrical Code requirements.
- Automatic GFEP self-test every heater cycle
- Automatic GFEP self-test every 24 hours
- Selectable trip current: 30 mA (default), 60 mA, or 120 mA
- Ground fault diagnostic output for service troubleshooting
A calibrated 40°F to 90°F (4°C to 32°C) high-limit temperature sensor prevents excessive temperatures and allows safe system testing even in warmer conditions. The temperature sensor is included.
